Steven B. Powers, MD hails from Southwestern Virginia and completed his undergraduate work at the University of Virginia at Wise. He received his medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School. He completed his internship in family practice and his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News, VA. Dr. Powers began private practice in the Hampton Roads area in 1991. He is board certified by the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Powers has served as Chief of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Chesapeake General Hospital and as Medical Director of Planned Parenthood of Southeastern Virginia. He is an advisor to the Virginia Joint Committee of Nursing and Medicine and is a participating provider with the Chesapeake Free Clinic. Dr. Powers is a member of the Medical Society of Virginia and the Chesapeake Medical Society.
Dr. Powers specializes in high risk pregnancy, infertility, teenage gynecology and laparoscopic surgery.

George Rector, Jr, MD is a Hampton Roads native and received his B.S. from Old Dominion University and an M.D. from Eastern Virginia Medical School. He completed both his internship and residency training at Franklin Square Hospital in Baltimore, MD. Dr. Rector has been in private practice since 1985. He is board certified by the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Rector is presently Chief, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Chesapeake General Hospital. He is a participating provider with the Chesapeake Free Clinic and is an instructor of obstetrics and gynecology at the Eastern Virginia Medical School. He is a member of the American Medical Association, Medical Society of Virginia, Chesapeake Medical Society and the Water Quality Taskforce for the City of Chesapeake.
His areas of specialty include laparoscopic surgery, infertility and high risk pregnancy.

An Indiana native, Judith A. Siron, RNC, CNM, MSN received her B.S. in Nursing and her M.S. in Nursing/Nurse Midwifery from the University of Missouri. Over the years, she has had extensive experience as a school nurse, labor and delivery, neonatal and pediatric nurse, nurse educator and graduate teaching assistant. Ms. Siron is active in the National Perinatal Association, National Association of Certified Nurse Midwives, American and Virginia Nursing Associations, and the Association for Women's Health and Neonatal Nurses. Ms. Siron is a clinical preceptor for the Virginia Commonwealth and Hampton University Nurse Practitioner programs. She is also an active provider participant with the Chesapeake and Virginia Beach Free Clinics.
The primary focus of her practice is with women of child-bearing age, however, she has a special interest in adolescent health and well women's care.
