Dr. Kimberly Stockmaster is originally from Ohio. She attended college at Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio earning a Bachelor of Science in Natural Sciences. She then attended medical school at Wright State University School of Medicine where she graduated first in her class. She completed internship and residency at Case Western Reserve University at MetroHealth Medical Center and the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland where she received the award for resident achievement in minimally invasive surgery. She decided to specialize in OB/GYN because of the diversity within the field. Her favorite part of the job is helping women through different transitions in their lives and, of course, delivering babies.

Dr. Stockmaster lives in Virginia Beach with her son. In her spare time she relishes spending time with her family and friends, enjoying the outdoors and reading.

I like the fact that I was able to walk in with and was greeted with a smile. She knew who I was and checked me in eventhough computer was booting back up. Wait time was good and I had a great laugh with the admitting nurse. Dr. S was professional and gentle during the exam. Her concerns during consultation was valuable to my next step with my care. Just an over pleasant place to come for all Gynecological needs.

I arrived at my appointment 10 minutes early and was taken back within 5 minutes. I saw the nurse for vitals then sat in the exam room naked with a paper sheet for one hour until the doctor came in. I heard her see three separate patients in the exam room to my right and speak to each one of them in the office to my left during this time. Maybe I was forgotten about.

The office was inviting, the check-in was a breeze, (did paperwork on line beforehand), the office staff and the nursing staff were fantastic. Dr. Stockmaster is efficient, but caring. She answers questions, asks questions and can make a not so comfortable exam, very ordinary and painless. The best gynecologist and practice I have ever been to in my 40 some years of having to do annual wellness exams.
