The pelvic floor is a layer of muscles which span the pelvis and support the pelvic organs including the uterus, bladder and bowel. It can become weak often due to pregnancy and giving birth, aging, extra weight and surgery. Dr. Mahoney is just phenomenal! I’ve been seeing her since I was a teenager, through infertility, and she will be delivering baby number 2 this month. She has surprised me on several occasions answering portal messages way faster than expected, returning phone calls, diligently ordering tests to solve problems, and just going above and beyond for her patients whenever she has the opportunity.

Nel went above and beyond in being compassionate and caring. There was a diagnosis that had never been brought up to me prior to my last appointment. When I brought this up with Nel she was so thoughtful and genuine in her response to the situation. She was humble in acknowledging that the situation was handled poorly and took ownership for that. I have never encountered a provider as high of quality as her.
