Dr. Kristen Mosier was born in Pennsylvania, and grew up in Kansas. She graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Science degree in Pre-Professional Studies. After graduating from the University of Kansas School of Medicine, she completed a four year Obstetrics and Gynecology residency program at the University of Oklahoma in Tulsa.

She has been with WomanCare Centers since 2017 where she enjoys caring for patients of all ages in both obstetrics and gynecology. She is a member of the medical staff at DePaul Medical Center and Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.

When not at work, Dr. Mosier enjoys spending time with her family. She loves the outdoors, travelling, and cheering on her favorite college sport teams.

OB Care

My overall experience has been great with this location. My last visit could have gone better. My concerns were iced over as if I said nothing and she did what she wanted to do as my treatment. Not much conversation or care for how I was feeling at my current stage of pregnancy. Had an anatomy scan the visit before and was supposed to discuss results and status of my baby and that never happened. We discussed nothing in regards to the babies growth or anything. She must have been having an off day because in the past she was much more warm and inviting to conversation.

Everything was fine and Dr Mosier was great as always. The only thing that was not satisfactory was I was not seen until 45 minutes after my appointment time. And no one communicated while I was waiting that they were behind or how much longer it would be.

This office location is so much better! It’s very nice inside but has the same feel of the old office. I’ve been seeing Dr. Kristen Mosier for a good while now and she’s honestly the best doctor I’ve ever had. I’m not scared to visit because I actually look forward to seeing and talking with her! She’s also very kind and I always feel comfortable asking her questions and being honest with her! She thoroughly explains everything and always on top of everything ! Thank you!

STI Testing / Treatment

I waited about 40 minutes to have my labs drawn. At the 20 minute mark I went to the front desk and asked if there was a phlebotomist on duty. There was no one in the lab the whole time I was waiting. The lady at the front desk said someone was working and would be right with me. I waited another 15 minutes and asked a staff member passing by what was going on and if she knew who was working in the lab. She said she would try to find someone to draw my labs. About 5 minutes later the Lab Tech walks in and takes off her coat. I don't think she was even in the building (she may have been on break). I wish someone would've let me know she was on break, I could've left and came back. My appointment was at 1115am and I didn't leave until almost 130pm.
