Heather H. Barrett Draeger

Dr. Heather Barrett Draeger joined Physicians to Women in early 2019. She was born and raised outside of Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Draeger graduated cum laude from University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana and then went on to University of Illinois College of Medicine. There she was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Dr. Draeger did her residency training at Wake Forest University School of Medicine. She then returned to Illinois and worked in a federally health qualified clinic. Dr. Draeger is board certified. Dr. Draeger met her husband, Jon Draeger, and married. Shortly after, they moved to Florence, South Carolina and began their family. They have a son and a daughter. Both are excited about exploring, learning, and loving others. The Draeger’s are very proud parents. Dr. Draeger and her family moved here in 2019. They have found this to be their forever home. They bought an old horse farm and are trying to improve it day by day. Their family cherishes learning each and every day. ‘Without learning we do not grow.”
