Dr. Scheidt grew up in Virginia. She received her B.S. in Chemistry from Roanoke College. She attended the University of Virginia for medical school and residency. Her interest include adolescent gynecology and minimally invasive surgery as well as routine well women & obstetric care.

She lives in Harrisonburg with her husband and 3 children. Outside of the hospital and office, she enjoys spending time with her family, camping and doing yoga.

I wish the office would have given me a heads up before my visit that they were out of network with Cigna, but it was worth it for Dr. Scheidt

Breast Exam

Dr was good. But they were suppose to send a referral to W H F, this was 12 pm on Monday & by Tuesday at 4 they had never sent it. I had to call them back & then they sent it. I am sent home worried to death & they acted like it was No big deal. WHF said they could get me in as soon as they got the referral but 2 days went by.
